White Owl supports small businesses that need technological services ranging from basic user support (such as software education, local system security, file management) to implementing a full scale network, streamlining workflow and simplifying business tasks via computer technology.

Home Computer Services

We make house calls. We fix everything from software misconfiguration to on-site hardware repair (see below) and installation. We provide application education, troubleshooting, user-level security, file management, purchase consultation, repair referrals and much more.

Repair Shop

White Owl has a repair shop for those computers with problems that need special attention. We send a technician out to the work site to assess the problem before the computer is taken to the shop. This ensures that the correct care is taken and that you get the best service possible.

Build Shop

Along with the repair shop is, of course, the build shop. We can custom just about any type of computer, from over-clockable gamer builds to rock-solid servers. We can set up the thin clients, and rig the rack mounted server. The Build Shop takes build contracts from the public, as there is no need for a technician to review any public build request. Hardware / software compatibility will be discussed at the time of the build request.

Scripting - Shell Programming - Programming Services

Shell and scripting languages can be extremely useful to solve a variety of server-side issues, including file management and retrieval, automate web server and file server tasks, and track and manage data (via databases). Scripting projects can be as small as a few "one-liners" to solve a little problem, or can be scaled to full programming projects in which complex software is built.

Technology Road-Mapping Services / Technical Consultation

Sometimes clients come to us who have done their best to manage their business technology without a technical consultant, but have painfully met a wall when it comes to making fundamental technology decisions in a presently raging world of micro technology because the field has become too complex for someone who doesn't focus completely on it at all times. If required White Owl can provide ongoing support contracts to new businesses until they establish a IT department of their own.
